Freundschaft

The wine bar Freundschaft was founded in 2018 by Willi Schlögl, Johannes Schellhorn, Moritz Estermann, and Stephan Landwehr.
From day one, the core idea was to offer an extensive wine list without the pressure of a set menu — a simple, everyday go-to place where you can enjoy wines curated by two top sommeliers. Or just have a white spritzer. Or both.

The wine list has grown from 450 to nearly 800 positions, complemented by 12 wines by the glass and a generous range of fortified wines. The focus lies on Austria, Germany, and France, alongside selections from the great wine-producing countries of the world. Artisan producers, authenticity.

The interior was completely transformed and now features a transparent wine cellar and a distinctive circular oak bar — a space designed to foster conversation and always offer a chance to connect on equal footing. A collection of works by renowned artists with ties to Berlin complements the warm, relaxed, and inviting atmosphere.
