Chateau Royal Berlin

Château Royal is a boutique hotel in Berlin-Mitte, open since fall 2022. It is made up of three buildings, including two long-neglected Berlin Altbaus. While the renovation has preserved the buildings' historic façades, a new structure, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, fills an empty lot to complete the hotel's three-building ensemble. Château Royal has 93 rooms and suites, all of them unique, and on ground floor are the hotel's classic zinc cocktail bar, the 100 seat restaurant, a wine tasting room, a courtyard winter garden and private dining room. A different Berlin-based contemporary artist has contributed a piece of work for permanent display to each room and many throughout the public areas.
